A Memorable Evening of Chinese Dance Classics and Folk Dances
At Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, a cultural landmark of Los Angeles, China Oriental Performing Arts Group will present an evening dance gala. The gala program features vivid folk dances from different ethnic groups of China and elegant Chinese dancing classics that epitomize poetic choreography and a long history of expressing feelings with bodily moves. The performance will be presented by the touring troupe of the poetic drama: The Journey of a Legendary Landscape Painting. It is the sincere wish of the dancing artists that the ethereal choreographic moves will resonate with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, bridging different cultures, and fortifying the cross-national friendship bond.
